Adding widgets to a dashboard

This reference article explains how to add widgets to a dashboard.

To add widgets to a dashboard, follow these steps:

1. Create widgets in the Explore page. For more information, see Creating simple widgets.

2. In the top right of the page, click Add to a dashboard.

3. Select one of the following options:

   • To add a table widget to a dashboard, select Add as a Table.

   • To add a visualization widget to a dashboard, select Add as a Visualization.

4. (Optional) Rename the widget.

5. Select one of the following options:

   • Click Add to existing dashboard, and select the existing dashboard where to add the widget.

   • Click Add to new draft dashboard, and enter the name of the new dashboard where to add the widget.

6. Click Add.
